On behalf of the entire Georgetown Lake Volunteer Fire Department, we would like to take a moment to say thanks to all for your help and support over the years and into the future. Much has happened since the last publication of The Backdraft, too much to cover here in our few scant pages, so we’ll hit the highlights. Thanks to FEMA, several other government grants and your support over the past five or so years we have been able to update some of our aging equipment. The new GLTVFD Fire Station has been completed and dubbed Station Three. This third and latest station is located next to the DNRC . (read more in the BackDraft Newsletter)
